How this calculator works
The calculator applies the published US percentage and fixed fee for the payment type you select. If the payer and receiver are in different markets, the international commercial transaction surcharge is added. Currency conversion is not added because conversion pricing depends on the currencies and PayPal's applicable exchange-rate terms.
Worked example
For a $500 domestic PayPal Checkout payment, the estimated fee is 3.49% of $500 ($17.45) plus $0.49, or $17.94. The estimated net is $482.06. If the same payment is an international commercial transaction, another 1.50% of the payment amount is added.
